Wet and windy Sutherland

12 DHCer’s signed up for Achmelvich.
Sandy saw the dire weather forecast and went home from Ardgay, Caithness,
Alan’s wheel bearings would not bear him any longer, so home he limped from Aviemore.
10 DHCer’s arrived in Achmelvich and survived the Friday night,
But, Kenny, the sole camper, left at dawn!
9 DHCer’s breakfasted, watching the wind and rain.
Sandra returned to grandparenting duties, scoring brownie points for next weekend’s fun in the sun!
While Graham decided birdwatching was more promising, leaving for the Cabrach.
7 DHCer’s planned a walked to Lochinver,
But, Moira and Stewart decided the Drumoak Gig was a better bet!
5 DHCer’s walked in the rain to the renowned pie shop and Highland Stoneware factory (see below).
4 DHCer’s returned for tea and cake, while 1 heroic DHCer went swimming!
5 DHCers’s returned to Lochinver for a delicious dinner in Dalilah’s.
3 DHCer’s departed Sunday for the drier East!
Jane Elder on the Graham, Cook’s Cairn, Moray, David Gray had a decent day above Drumochter.
